Lo que caracteriza a Tepotzotlán son sin duda las tradicionales quesadillas de huitlacoche, hongos, flor de calabaza, sesos, flor de maguey y tinga. En temporadas se puede saborear los escamoles, gusanos de maguey; sin faltar la barbacoa, mixiotes.
